Day 01: Cairo / Bahariya Oasis

Departure from Cairo at 8:00 am to Bahariya Oasis (385km) about four hours.

visit the antiquities of EL Bahariya Oasis, Greek Roman mummies at the antiquities office, Greek Roman cemetery from valley of mummies temple of Alexander the Great, Pharonic Temple “Ain El Muftella” (26th Dynasty), Pharonic Thumb “Banatiu” (26th Dynasty).

Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Bahariya / White Desert Safari

Breakfast. Departure by jeep 4X4 to the White Desert. Visit of the Black desert and the dune area. We start our climb of a 50meter dune. Lunch in El Heiz Oasis. On the route to Farafra we visit the Crystal Mountain, the area of the wonders with the desert roses.  We visit El Akabat and then we head to the White Desert. In the evening, we have a barbeque dinner and sleep in tents under the stars...

Day 03: Bahariya / Farafra Oasis

After Breakfast, drive to the small oasis of Farafra to visit the art museum the hot spring and the old oasis then have lunch after that continue driving to reach Dakhla. On the way we visit the Picturesque village of El Qasr, Deir El Hagar and visit the Roman burial Ground of Muzzawaka then drive to the painted rock at the yellow desert to enjoy the camel rock .
Overnight camping.

Day 04: Bahariya / Cairo

After breakfast we drive back to Bahariya oasis for transfer to Cairo.

Farafra Oasis

Very little is known about Farafra before the Roman period, of which just a few remains have been found. In terms of antiquities, there is little to see but the desert offers more than one spectacular view. The area north-east of Qasr Farafra is called White Desert and is definitely worth a visit (better by 4x4). Here chalk monoliths have been slowly eroded by the wind into strange and suggestive shapes that extend for kilometres all around, creating a magnificent view.

To the south, the ancient caravan route called Darb Farafra between Farafra and Dakhla crossed the little water station of Bir Dikkar and then the impressive Black Valley, named after the black pyrite fragments that cover the surface. This has been for a while one of the tracks used for the Rally of the Pharaohs. West of Farafra lies the spring of 'Ayn Dalla, which has always been an important strategic point in the middle of the Western Desert. The road leading there runs across a beautiful landscape dotted with chalk formations and lacustrine deposits.
